My Brethren,
At the Stated Meeting for the Month of March, we had the great honor to present the Golden Veterans Award to Brother Albert Montague, P. M. for over fifty years of continued service to our Ancient and Honorabl'e Fraternity. After dinner, we retired to the lodge room were in an open ceremony for masons and non-masons our Inspector Brother Melik Ekisian, P. M. assisted by Brother A'lex Navarro P. M. on behalf of the M. W. Grand Lodge of Masons in California, presented Brother Montague with a golden Masonic pin and a certificate signed by the Grand Master as a token of fraternal love and appreciation more than half a century of membership and dedication to our gentle craft.
We would like to convey our thanks and appreciation to Brothers Ekisian and Navarro for a job well done. We also want to thank Brother Montague for enlighten us with the most interesting bits and pieces of his life as a mason, his years of service to the Navy during the second world war, and many years of service as a deputy Sheriff in Los Angeles County. Best wishes for a long and healthy life. We will always remember and welcome you in Alhambra Lodge.

We also pray for Brother Absalom Villescas who is recuperating from injuries from a car accident that he and his family suffered. Have a full recovery and come back to lodge soon.
