San Marino Lodge U.D.F.&A.M. is the first Masonic Lodge to be instituted in the City of San Marino. It takes its name from that of the city. San Marino Marno was founded April 25, 1913. It was named after the Republic of San Marino, the oldest and smallest Republic in the world. The founder members of San Marino Lodge U.D. recognize their duty to pay the craft their wages, if any be due, that none may go away dissatisfied, harmony being the strength and support of all society, especially of ours. They therefore pay to the Grand Lodge Officers who take part in the institution of the lodge, their wages in coin of the Republic of San Marino. These coins bear on their face the same coat of arms as does the official seal of the City of San Marino.
